Good Valves for Airsoft guns?

I am making a lever action revolving airsoft rifle. But i need a valve for it. I don't know if i should use a QEV or a blow gun or solenoid. (i'd prefer an electronic valve so the trigger could hit a button and actuate the valve instead of some mechanical Bo schit) I plan on having a small chamber (maybe 3/4" pipe thats 3" long) And i hope for using 300 psi +. Any suggestions? I'll try to post pictures of the gun when i get the lever-action assy. done. Any suggestions on materials to make a lever action?

I guess that 1/8"-1/4" QEV will be ideal...
ohh I know this is not a true lever action (well it is but it's not what ppl associate with the term lever action) but you could use a BV to load ammo... just drill a hole in its side and attach the mag there

Can QEVs be modded for electronic use?

Whats a BV? The guns "magazine" is actually exactly what a .357 magnum revolver has.

BV= Ball valve.
Can QEVs be modded for electronic use?
Probably, but pneumatically actuated valves typically perform better.

well you might as well buy an indirect acting 3 way solenoid valve and use it as the main valve... 1/4" or 3/8" one should have enough flow for 6mm ammo
though with a 3 way valve you might as well build a semi

well semi auto still requires the loading mech which he has covered with the lever action, bv would be best way, so he basically is making a semi

yeah I know that he wanted a lever action gun but building a semi isn't much more complicated that that...
he would only need an airsoft hop-up unit or an air cylinder as the loading mech.

how could he use an airsoft hop up mech for loading? i understand the cylinder...

so buy an aisoft gun, then take it apart

good idea. it seems like it would work, did you ever finish it?
edit: oops i just realized that's not yours

nope that's not mine but I would like to build one... if you think of it it makes sense... hop-up units are ready made loading mechs. that are used on AEGs... get a valve and hook up an airsoft hop-up unit to them with a mag... and that's it

you know that ball valve lever ation thing has my mind.. i might have to try that for airsoft...

there are a few guns here that used BVs for loading.. but personally I think that hop-up units are muuuuuch better...

yeah that is if you can get them... i've seen a lot of bv loading systems but not lever action with a mag. that's what i plan on doing

I could make a semi. but it would only have 6 shots. i already have the loading mech. The gun right now is a gutted 6-shooter. I am putting a longer barrel on it, a lever action, and some kind of solenoid valve. The gun broke from me dropping it numerous times. ( i like pertending ima gun slinger and twirl the guns, its fun, im really good at it now)
