Still kind of a work in progress, but I thought I'd showcase it in its final stages

Specs and Features
o 3/4" QEV piloted by 1/4" Slide Valve
o 3/4" CPVC Paintball Barrel
o "Polymorph" custom molded parts
o Tee-mag with "Polymorph" non-adjustable detent
o 0-700psi CO2 regulator
o male 1/4" QD with check valve
o Epoxy based paint to avoid chipping/wearing away

Specs and Features to come (very soon)
o Spring loaded trigger return (I've got this worked out with rubber bands, its just ghetto looking)
o Real Paintball Hopper
o Some sort of sight
o "Polymorph" foregrip

Some Photos:
Sorry for the awful quality, once I get some upgrades worked out I'll take some better ones

Good work; how well does the hopper seal? Any leaks?

WHere did you get the QEV?

I don't have the hopper yet, so I don't know. I've only tested with a tube mag, and it works fine. I got the QEV from McMaster-Carr.

Dude that's fu***** awesome

try to find a spring that you can put between the grip and the slide of slide valve (uhmm around it acctually)

ohh if you find a cheap air cylinder consider mounting it under the barrel... get a tube that fits inside the barrel and cut a small slit in the barrel... and voila you've got a semi firing from a closed bolt

Love the grip, love the slide valve. Awesome work.

Thanks POLAND the spring around the slide valve may be hard to implement for the polymorph would have to be reheated to access the slide valve, but I might just try the closed bolt if this doesn't feed well at high ROF, but for now the detent feeds well and may just work out as a hop up

@PVC_arsenal, I'm glad you like it, Im trying to show that slide valves don't have to be the most uncomfortable DCVs, they just need a little work.

If you like the current look, I'm hoping the upgrades will blow your minds!

not really, you don't have to disassemble anything to put a spring around it.... uhmm you can wrap the spring around

uhmm given my limited vocabulary it's kind of hard to explain, but I am sure others will tell you how to do this

What he means is get a spring with an inner diameter that matches the outer diameter of the pipe behind the slide valve. Put it in between the slide valve and your grip.

Did you paint the polymorph or just dye it black with pigments mixed in?

If this were mine, I would make a piece to go from the back of the QEV to the top of the grip that folds down over the sides. It would give the back of the gun a more solid look.

POLAND, I get wht you're saying, there's just no room for a spring

I can't wait to see your project -_-

EDIT just saw your post, the polymorph is painted, an extra parr could be added, but I would have to repaint. Thanks for the suggestions though

Should I use half inch ID pvc? Or 3/4 ID? I am just wondering because I am making my own paintball bolt action sniper rifle. Btw, nice job, looks excellent.

3/4 cpvc is a perfect fit for paintballs

1/2 PVC SDR21 is the best in my opinion.
