I am working on a school project for one of my engineering classes. I have a few questions about air cannons and fluid mechanics.

In your best knowlegde please answer the following questions about air cannons.

1.) What works the best with your device and what are some other items that could work well with it.
2.) What are some improvements that could be made to the current design of most aircannons.
3.) Are there any other things you would like to share with us about your designs.

#1 is vague. Projectiles, Valve, Construction Materials?

#2 Most could use higher CV for higher flow.

#3 See my sig for details on my design. High flow and fast operation was the engineering goals to lob a t shirt into the back row of the 300 section in a NBA basketball stadium.

What are your goals? Precision lobs, power, distance, extreme velocity, air supply efficiency?
