Be nice, it's my first one, and kind of crude!

Well, this was my project last week, however I had been researching and interested in spud cannons for a long time. After a lot of research, I felt I wanted something that has a lot of power that runs by a source that is cheap: compressed air. So I went and built a full size cannon, with the barrel over top of the compression chamber, and the valve being a sprinkler valve, non-modified (using the electric solenoid.) I used SCH40 Pressure rated 4" and 2" PVC. 4' 4" Compression chamber. 5.5' 2" Barrel. 160psi pressure guage, and a quick connect fitting.

Yes, I know the primer went all over, I don't really car ehow it looks, just as long as it works! Some pictures, and a video:

Serious flow restriction from the tiny valve too.
But... You said to go easy... So...
Great job!! Haha. Don't go over 60 psi please!

Uh oh.....I actually did not know that. Damn. That could be a bit of a problem, I may have to look into rocking some bushings. That's scary. I appreciate you telling me. However, maybe, I am a very very lucky person, and it's one of the few that are pressure rated.

If you're lucky yeahh :P
I dont take chances. If you can get the bushing, do it. If not, stay low pressure. Otherwise it is a beast of a cannon. :)
