Hi everybody, I need a simple trigger mechanism for semi auto for hammer valves, thanks

This is how FX semi-auto airguns work ;)

Here's my Monsoon opened up:

I mean the trigger part, how does it re catch the hammer?
sorry that diagram was difficult to understand

Maybe the FX design is a little too complex, but surely you can find inspiration here?

they are for single shots or electronic :(
may be I should just make one that I can recock the hammer and reload ammo in one single action

Here's a basic diagram of how the FX Monsoon works, I've not shown the magazine for the sake of clarity.

The sequence is like this:

1) blue trigger is pulled, releasing the red hammer

2) hammer its the yellow valve stem releasing a burs of air

3) the air fires the projectile

4) when the projectile passes barrel porting, air pushes the green piston back

5) the piston recocks the hammer, which gives semi or full auto depending on whether the trigger is still held or not

Not as hard as you think. Imagine adding a silencer, but the back wall can move. Connect that to your hammer and you're done.

The important think is to have good enough porting flow and a large low priction piston for the air to push on.

I'm having a hard time believing that the barrel piston will travel far back enough, given the small time the air has to act on it.

Works for the FX Monsoon and Revolution, though granted for a 3000-1500 psi range. It certainly won't work for a low powered launchers. Moving the porting towards the breech will certainly improve chances of success.

Also consider that the Monsoon has one tough hammer spring, takes a lot of effort to cock it, a lower pressure launcher has much lower cocking requirements.

Some time ago I figured it could be adapted as a shell ejecting reload mechanism:

I know how a single shot trigger works
My problem is I can´t release the trigger fast enough to catch the recocked hammer and the hammer hits the valve again, so it´s more like a full auto than semi.

What's wrong with a double action hammer? If it's a heavy hammer, and the spring doesn't impinge on the hammer for the last few degrees I don't see why not.

Edit: It shouldn't cause fully automatic fire, if the hammer bounces once it hits the valve, I can't see it having enough force to trigger it again.

would you like to see your gun firing in full auto when it was designed to be a semi auto
I want semi auto because the accuracy is relatively better than a full auto
