how is air released from this

i cant really tell how the air is released from this valve,it seems very simple can someone please explain thanks.

the front poppet valve hits a beam that crosses the center of the main tube, and provides paintball propellant gas. The rear one that the hammer strikes supplies the "blow back" gas. look a little closer :wink:

I made this once years ago. Super simple after you balance the hammer spring to cock right.

it looks like a somewhat tricky build i wish i had a animation or something of what the valves internals looked like,something with detail. how did you make yours?

its pretty simple the little purple bits are seals when the grey part moves forward the valve at the end that is very similar to a bike tyre valve is opens because of a rod in its way, its shown in the animation as a dot. then after a bit the back one opens and blows the hammer back for a nother shot.

its not a hard system but will only be effective at high pressure.
