Hi guys,

As promised, here is my finished gun including some process pictures (final results at the bottom).

-----------------------------

Before:

------------------------------------

What I used for the staining: Acrylic Black & Red (ratio of 2 reds : 3 blacks) to get a cherry tone, worked out really well, got what I was after.
**I took a cart from the supermarket below my house so I don't have to care about the stain / lacquer touching or ruining anything.
**The tone really looks like cherry wood, night shots make it look really dark and unfortunately, ruin the color. Will update tomorrow with the day-time pictures so you can see how it turned out.

Sorry, I don't have any day-time pictures, I'll only get them tomorrow with the damage pictures. More to come: Better scope mounting (getting a rail extender) and a 6mm barrel for the BBs.
Will update tomorrow with current damage (around 450-500 FPS), and again when I get the barrel next week.

Did you ever think about a mono pod that could extend from the front of the stock? Another idea that might work is to try making a hole in the forestock so that a ajustable bipod could come out of it. is that good
?

It's always important to communicate in at least a somewhat clear, coherent manner. There are many people who simply can't respect those who can't do that.

You're free to write however you like.

David Mitchell says it like it is though.

Or perhaps more to the point, if you wish to communicate with others then at least have the good grace to do so without assaulting their ears or eyes.
