This is my current build of the air gun:
5mm ID of barrel.
Getting about 740 FPS+- (chronied with sound and good mic) at 300 PSI with this.

Now, I have about a $200~$250 budget, cannot get a paintball CO2 tank where I live at, so I need to get an adapter for that sodastream bottle too.
An adapter costs about $70. The adapter makes the screwing on the bottle like the one on a paintball CO2 tank, so I can use anything that will fit the paintball tank.

I need the pressure inside the sodastream bottle to be reduced down to 300-600 PSI (NO MORE, I am scared the gun will explode).
Any other suggestions are welcome!

Oh and the female stabilizer is ok, I have one that goes 0-200psi with remote+gauge

So in order to accomplish what I need, which parts do I need to buy? Sorry I'm just not really familiar with all the regulators & fittings needed and don't want the order to stretch over a 2 month period. The palmers female stabilizer is an excellent choice, I have two and they both work great. Besides that, all you'll really need is some high pressure hose to connect it to your gun and a ball valve to fill with

This screws on to your sodastream bottle, and gives it the same thread as a paintball bottle.

You now have a regulated gas supply.
The output of this supply has a female 1/8" NPT thread. The question now is how you will connect it to the launcher.
You can either connect it through a three way valve to the pilot area of your piston valve, and the three way becomes the trigger, or connect it to the chamber area of your piston valve and use it as-is.
I'm guessing you want the supply to be on board?

Yes, I want the supply to be placed exactly as you can see in the picture. I am removing a part of the stock and placing the CO2 there (like many manufactured airguns do). I am thinking about maybe getting a short tube that will connect to the schrader valve.

It says max input is 1500 PSI. The sodastream is probably holding a lot more..
About the connection to the gun itself - not really a concern, I can make epoxy putty hold a tube at that output nozzle, and connect that tube to the shcrader valve.

Why connect it to the shrader valve? If it is feeding into the pilot, then you will get lower performance and waste more gas. At room temperature CO<sub>2</sub> has a vapour pressure of around 800 psi. It goes up when it gets hotter, but it won't exceed 1500 psi.How much pressure is the sodastream bottle holding?

... then screw the stabilizer directly on to it. It has a side output so would be in line with the barrel just how you want it.
edit: Are you planning on shooting this for every trigger pull or were you planning on refilling the chamber manually for every shot?

My idea was constant air flow, regulated to 300 PSI. When the bottle is finished - I buy a new one (they're awfully cheap here, around $12~$15). I think I can get a pretty decent amount of shots from such a big tank, as I get about 5 consistent shots at with a 12g CO2 cartridge, 750-ish FPS.
The idea with the barrel mounting on top of it won't work as the trigger mechanism is in the way. I don't see the problem with connecting it to where the schrader valve already is?

If you're going to shut off the connection when firing, no problem. If you're going to leave it open though, when you try to shoot, the blowgun is trying to empty the pilot area, while the sodastream bottle is trying to fill it.
