Aluminum cylinder for Eclipse

Finally got a metal solution for the cylinder in the Eclipse. This weighs two ounces less than the acetal one with lightening holes. It was made on a mill in three pieces then bolted together and finished on the fourth axis to cut the cam.

That is one nice bit of CNC!

Can I ask how much the whole thing cost to make?

Lol. Don't exactly have an answer for you Jack. Should only be a few hundred each in production. It solves the thermal issues and will increase the operating pressures.
