Urgent help for QEV co2 gun!

I basically never posted, but I am currently building a QEV/Slide valve gun and I am sort of lost. I've looked up many models and I believe I understand the QEV but I would like to know what parts I would need to make the basic gun.

I have:
QEV (QE-04)
Slide Valve (1/2")

What parts do I need? Where do I hook up everything?
Thank you

What do you mean "I've looked up many models and I believe I understand the QEV but I would like to know what parts I would need to make the basic gun." ?

If you've looked at many models, you shouldn't need to ask that question.

You really do need to be able to figure that out on your own, nuff said...

Wow..That was harsh..

Let me answer your question.

basic parts are:

reservoir.
valve.
barrel.

Easiest way to hold them together would be threading.
:D

Just being honest. How are new members going to handle this hobby safely if they can't figure out the very basics on their own? It's the spoonfeeding issue we have been dealing with for years. No offense intended, I should have clarified, my bad but I make no apologies, it's for the innocents own good. Know what I mean?

may BE cause many of new members are children 8-14 years old......and i do not think it's a good idea to give them informations about making guns ....even if airsoft......

So you agree with me, spoonfeeding is a bad thing to do?

if he is able to understand minimum basics of building a gun an he only need certin info, yes, but if he say: i got a qev and a 3way valve....what else do i need and how to connect to make gun......( perhaps a barrel an a airtank would help  ) than, no......

Oh yea, I see now. His questions surprised me after claiming to look at many models.

Well I found different models and sometimes they greatly vary. Ive seen that the release from the slide valve allows for a change of pressure, pushing the piston and letting the air out.
So if I have my QEV, my co2 tank on the bottom entry hole, my barrel on the R hole and the slide valve on the remaining one, would it work? just pulling and pushing the slide valve would shoot?

Now you're headed in the right direction!

This hobby has a lot of trail and error. Try it and find out if THAT particular configuration works. :bigsmurf:

Thank you Jrrdw, so all I need is the tank, adapters so everything fits, my qev, barrel and slide valve? Do I need anything else between those parts? or simply the release of the slide valve will be okay?

Facepalm!

There is not a question in any of your post that can't be answered in these forums. You know when you study other members cannons you don't just look at all the pictures (this ain't a nudie mag) you have to read all the postings that go with it.
