Using a HPA Tank as a Quick-disconnect Air Supply

Hey guys, I have a single charge air gun in the works, since the air chamber releases all at once I have to use a shock pump to pump it over 100 times to reach a decent PSI. I recently was given a paintball tank and had the idea to use it as a portable power source, the tank is far too bulky to integrate into the gun, but I thought I might be able to hang it off of a sling and connect it via schrader valve to quickly dump a charge of air into my chamber (think airsoft green gas bottle).

The regulator can be modified to a safe pressure, which goes through a short air hose to a schrader fitting which I should be able to screw into a schrader valve like a bike pump.

Has anyone done anything similar? I'm just looking for useful suggestions. I've never heard of an HPA tank being used in this way.

I have used this: https://palmerspursuit.com/collections/ ... industrial

No reason why it wouldn't work, just make sure you get the pressure to safe level with the reg.
