Hi all, this forum has been an immense help to me so I have another question regarding a pistol idea I had months ago. I intend on using either 12g or 16g CO2 cartridges connected to a L shaped Throttle Valve as shown below, probelm is what size valve would I need (look at the options below) would I require to simply plug in the cartridge or would I even need a regulator of some sorts?

This might come in handy for you...you know what the temperature is where you are, this will help you determine the pressure, and also help determine what is "properly" rated for the use.

Did a quick google on the L style throttle valves...the one I found had a maximum pressure of 1.32Mpa...just less than 200psi.
I'm sure some folks would give it a go, but I would run through a regulator and knock the pressure down.

Thanks for the chart mate! I think this regulator should suffice:

In regards to hooking it up I’ll hose up the regulator to the L style throttle valve - all I need to know now is the size required.
