Can anyone tell me where to find those nifty cam lock fittings like the ones on the Americannon? He said in that post that they are made by Banjo. Does anyone know of a major retailer like Lowes etc. that can special order those? Thanks

Which aisle? Not the PVC aisle right? Huh I was just in there between these posts. What kind of unions do you mean?

Look by the sump pump supplies. At Menards they are right next to the check valves. I haven't seen them anywhere else. You can also order them from McMaster.com if you cannot find them.

Yeah... If you want half inch cam locks...

I actually sell really nice ones with a double-lock feature at a relatively low price on my website. Check it out. www.LaunchPotatoes.com Look in the Launcher Parts/Accessories section in the Barrels/Barrel Parts area.

Those are those gator locks, right? I was going to buy some... until I found 3" aluminum Banjo fittings for my Piston-Valved Americannon for a cheap price.

BTW, when are you going to put up that piston valve?

I actually built a couple and decided to change them a little. I am adding an o ring and using a better sealing face. I should have time to install the o-ring on the 2" porting valve tomorrow. I wanted to today but had no time.

So stay tuned folks. I'll have those valves ready soon. 1.5" porting in a 2" tee, 2" porting in 2.5" tee, and a 3" porting is in planning. For that one to work best, it will most likely require the use of the 1.5" porting valve as a pilot.

If you are making a 3" porting valve in a 4" tee, then you can just use a 3/4" QEV from mcmaster; they work great!
