this is my second gun. well actually it can be counted as my first because my other gun didnt work to well, it had a pvc ball valve that leaked. so i count this as my first pneumatic powered gun.
it has a 2" chamber that shrinks to 3/4" that leads to a 1" modded sprinkler(my first mod, yay!) and then to a 1/2" barrel. the only reason i have 3/4" pipe in there is because i couldn't find all the right parts to have it as 1". it has interchangeble barrel and chamber capabilities, almost all the parts are threaded but i teflon taped them so they shouldn't leak. if you actually read this please put a star(*) at the beginning of your response. i want to see who actually reads these things.
please tell me what you think!
i almost forgot: BCDF stands for Beta Carotene Deployement Facilitator(beta carotene is an ingredient fond in carrots and this gun was made for launching carrots)
the whole gun
just the valve

Thats cool. Have you ran it through GGDT? I think the chamber is a bit big.

Heheheh nice. But you should have made it to shoot olives so it could be called BOOBS: Big Over-under Olive Blasting Spudgun. lol

Nice gun. I like the quick connect on the valve. You should get some good speeds off of that since the 1" valve(which actually isn't 1" but a bit smaller from what I hear) you have is bigger than your barrel. How far/fast can you shoot that sucker?

Nice gun but that reducer is dvw so I wouldn't take it too high

Make a video of it. Shoot some cd's. Damn it I keep telling people to shoot cd's but they never do

They are the BEST targets because when they are hit, they shatter and the foil on the back tears into tiny pieces and goes everywhere.

Why do you have a union right before the valve? And clip those solenoid wires, it'll make it a lot cleaner. Try to find a bushing and not a DWV reducer, reducers aren't pressure rated.

The union is probably so he can still take the valve off and use the it for other things.

Never thought of that one. Probably should have before I made my paintball sniper rifle.

thanks for all the feedback! yes, the union is so i can take off the valve. i could also take the valve out and use it as a burst disk cannon! it would be the first sprinkler/burst disc multi-valved cannon!
i have to use dwv because its the only stuff i can find around here, but i only shoot it at about 80 psi so i should(SHOULD)be safe.
its also winter and living in minnesota and shooting cannons(especially pneumatic cannons) probably isnt too safe, but i will try to get a vid.

No you don't have to use dvw you can buy fittings online at mcmaster for pretty cheap. I wouldn't take it to 80 psi but whatever you want.

DWV isn't pressure rated but it can hold pressure. 80 psi is fine, just don't go for anything over that for more power.
