I'm going to start work on a new "overkill" cannon this week.
It will be a barrel sealing piston valve, with a special excaust piece that closes the main valve just right after the ammo has left the barrel.
I won't get to much into that right now.

It's gonna be 2" all steel, operating at a pressure up to 30 bar, depending on how much recoil it gives off.It will probably be too powerfull to be used to it's full potential.

This one should satisfy my hunger for even more power.
It will still be a short handheld like the old sawed-off

I need help picking a cool name.
So far I have come up with these names:

U.D.U. short for Ultimate Destruction Unit.( Nobody does it like UDU...)

Darth Vapor

Blunt Force Trauma Cannon ( nice and raw)

Brian's Overkill Sawed-off ( BOSO)

Or simply "OVERKILL"
Please don't use any of these names yourself

You need MORE power than the sawed off?????
Overkill is a cool name, darth vapour is good too but only people who use compressed air guns will understand, everyone else will be like 'wtf?'

Yay 200th post!
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Overkill. I tend to prefer short snappy names, rather than long acronyms and multi-part names.

I'll admit to having named a few cannons like that before, but I haven't done it in ages...
Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

Haha, bring it on!
I haven't got a barrel yet so it could be anything right now.
It might be 2"marbles, or if I decide on a different barrel, golfballs or pingpongballs filled with concrete or led bb's.
Maybe I'll even give spuds a try too!!

I have got some work done on it.
I didn't manage to make it look like a big sawed-off, simply because the 2" fittings look rediculously large compared to the handle/trigger part.
To put it into perspective, my CO2 bottle could be mounted without giving it a more bulky look. The bottle would look small.

I swung the reservoir 180 degrees pointing towards the back, to balance it out better. The handle/trigger will be a ( very good) blowgun, wich activates the valve I had on the sawed-off, wich in turn will actuate the main piston.

I tested the blowgun-way-of triggering on the sawed off a few weeks back, and it works. No problem at 23 bar either.

The blowgun will be mounted in a "minigun" fashion.I didn't want it to look unnatural, this way it looks pretty cool.
Without it's barrel the gun will be pretty compact and can be carried like a suitcase.

The sawed-off ballvalve has side channels, one of them will hold the blowgun.THe ballvalve itself will be used as a...SAFETY!!
Wow..that would be a first for me!!

I still have to get a barrel, I might start out with a 1 1/4", removable for transportation, untill I can afford some more fittings. The main valve has 1 1/4 porting, wich would be more than enough for a 2"barrel at high pressure.
Tomorrow I'll buy the stuff I need for the piston, and one 1/4"fitting to attach the blowgun.

I still can't decide on the name.
