I was searching the net and I came across this page: The Burgles Cannon
Although it has a lot of dead volume, with a good tee valve, or even a modded sprinkler valve this thing would be a very formidable weapon. It’s kind of like the missing link between a ball valve cannon and a coaxial.

Wow, that gun is wierd as hell. Why would you complicate such a simple concept?
Its not that bad really.
The ballvalve bit is what makes it a bit crap.
Otherwise its fine what what its for: being a breech loading coaxile so it at least looks vaguely like a conventional cannon to be used against paintball tanks.

The one from AdvancedSpuds looks a lot like the one in my link.
And Pimpmann’s didn’t work.

The one in advanced spuds is identical just with a sprinkler valve replacing the ball valve.
I independantly came up with an almost identical design last year because there really is only so many ways you can do stuff with standard pipe fittings.

That gun on advanced spuds has stumped me many times. At first glance (like a year or two ago), I agreed with you guys; its just a sprinkler valve.
But the builder himself said, "This launcher took several hours of build time and design time, and also about 4 hours of lathe work"
Other than building a piston, what on this launcher could have possibly taken 4 hours of lathe work? The flush bushings? I think not
