Hey, ive been using ball valves for my last guns but now i want to upgrade. IM going to home depot tomorrow. IS the any kind of sprinkler valve thats the best? Are there any bad ones?

avoid the ones with the guide rods.
water masters are the best from what ive heard, but rainbirds also work

im not looking for a valve to mod right now. Im just looking for one that I can use 9Vs to open quikly. Will any valve work?

Yes any of the solenoid valves will run off of a 9 volt.

thanks. You think abour 1/4 foot of 1.5pvc would make a suitable chamber for a marble pistol? the barrel is 1/2

Yes a solenoid is just a electric valve. Any size will work its just a matter of how far your wanting the marble to go.
