Oooh nice
Looks like a oversize shock pump but in a track pump design. It'll be good for getting high pressure comfortably.
I'm going to have to get myself a 300psi shock pump now

lol yer i still got a prob with my cannon: because the back of the piston has a female thread when i fire it gets stuck there

so ill rebuild this weekend hopfully it will be ready for some action

That pump should last a while and serve well.
Schmanman pls make that pic in the sig smaller the size of it is ridicous when you consider that is takes up half the screen.

They should build these pumps duel action. I bet it's hard pumping at around 150/170 psi! A lot of work to go shooting, but good exercise. It's a good one.

There are actually.
Dual tyre and shock pumps in one you switch the cylinder to a smaller one by twisting something for higher pressure.
Annoying in-line handheld ones only though

it has a spring man. the piston gets stuck on the in internal thread plus springs decrease the performance of the piston.
any other ideas?

Shave off or cover (with epoxy) the internal threads that are getting the piston stuck. Wouldn't argue with schmanman about piston valves.

Looks nice, especially for metal cannons. What is a shock pump?

If you have access to a lathe, or a round file, file down the ridges where the piston is getting stuck.
dodo *snickers*, I never said I was all knowing, while I do know a fair share about piston valves, or most any potato gun valve, I still, like everyone, have much to learn.
piston valves are really in their infancy.

i wasnt agruing mate all i said was ive alredy tried doing wat he said.
im thinking because there is exess thread i'll cut it to size and make the piston a bit shorter.

EDIT---------i cut the thread down and now it perfect the spin is still a lil to tight
But all good at 700fps

On mountain bikes there are often pneumatic cylinders acting as suspension - otherwise known as shocks. They're filled with 200-300psi air and shock pumps are used to fill and top them up.
