Board today, as I was told I wasnt aloud to shoot my air rifle because the neigbors might see and get scared.
So I went into the shed and was taking my spudguns apart to store the ones and peices I never use, then I made this.
As usual its made from recyled parts, but don't complain.
It isnt powerful
It isnt accurate
But its damn fun!

The chamber is very small at about the equivelent of 10cm of 22mm pipe, And the barrel is 27cm of 22mm pipe. Valve 1/2" QEV.

Thing is its just cool that you can shoot it with one hand, and it takes seconds to fill an load, and its very quiet.

GGDT say it shoots at about 25J.

So overall its a fun gun and nothing that you use for blasting throught wood or anything.

Cool plinker. Spudgun equivalent of a little .22 pocket pistol, lol. Nice use of spare parts. If you stuck a bigger chamber and a nicer handle on it, it'd be pretty respectable... cool as is, though.

put a chamber on it the same size as the barrel, and it would look like BTB's shotgun.

I wish I had a qev laying around....

Reminds me of a ball and cap pistol from the 1800's. I call that revalotionanary thinking! 1st of it's kind or have you seen other pistols? You should have a pair of them bad boys!

It's just my style.
I thought about cutting up the sawed-off to make it into a pistol...but I would never sacrifice it's power.

It might be better to get a 15 mm straight connecter and use a 15 mm barrel.The connector threads right into the qev.That would cut down the dead space ( enabling you to shorten the barrel even more) and the chamber would be relatively bigger..Also it's more of a pistol caliber..
maybe you could cut a wooden handle to shape ( and cover) the copper one better.

Yeah, I have to watch it firing my cannon in the garden. Four dam neighbours around it, the garden is about 50m by 50m and theres me trying to skulk about with something that looks suspicious and makes a bloody loud bang.

Usually a case of firing a shot, hiding the cannon, taking a look at what I shot and then having another go a few hours later.

Try making lightweight darts for target practice

Here is the slightly better version with an added 7m/s and 10cm less overall length.

I put abit more chamber on, and took a bit of barrel off.
I also added a spacer bettween the barrel and chamber.
Now that its shorter it easyer to hold steady at arms length.

no, it's a ball valve piloted qev.

nice! the longer chamber and spacer really put the icing on the cake!
bet it's a lot more powerful now, too.
