I upgraded this POS a couple times. I made a barrel sealing piston valve for it, and then it looked like this. Now it shot a lot better, but it was ugly and uncomfortable. I also added about a foot and a half to the chamber, which increases the power even more. This thing can easily blast taters all the way down my street, which is 280 yards long, from where I shoot. GGDT says it shoot around 450 fps with a potatoes slug as the projectile. I turned the valve around and put it even with the chamber, now I can also shoot it as a "stationary gun" type thing. This is the biggest gun I've made, because now I have a compressor. I'll get some damage pics up sometime, I also plan on upgrading the pilot from a 1/2" ball valve to a 1" sprinkler.

Thats pvc painted black not abs right?
It looks kinda hard to hold but it must work well to get 280 yds.
Put up some damage pics if you can :)
What pressure do you run it at, btw?

The purple isn't the color of royalty, it's an assload of purple primer.
_Fnord, I've been spudgunning over 3 years, it's PVC. If you didn't know (evidently not), ABS is very shiny, and has white writing on it. I just hold it with my right hand on the barrel threads and my left triggering the ball valve. I use it at 80-100 psi usually.

The configuration is odd but cool nonetheless. Nice work.

I just asked because the only abs I have is incredibly old and dull and looks like your pvc :) No I've never actually had new shiny abs cause my hardware store doesnt sell it.
