This is my first cannon, the F-14, a pneumatic. In the back of the cannon, I used treaded parts so I could easily modify the cannon later. I also discovered that if you don't put in the tire stem right and don't seal it well, it will come back to haunt you.
Here are the specs:
1" in-line Watermaster sprinkler valve
2" Chamber
1" barrel

nice what do you use for ammo? and how much psi do you go up to? also i think a paint job would improve the whole thing (anything with a base coat of black looks nice

I don't think its operational yet unless you're using a triggering method I don't know. The solenoid ain't wired up and its not modded.

Are you going to go with solenoid piloting then?

I'm not sure if its just me but the endcap on the chamber in the second picture is making me think of hot melt glue....

As for ammo, I pretty much use anything I can find, which involves a lot of pinecones. I usually go up to about 80psi, but occasionally I go higher.

I agree, I need a paintjob, but it is not in ready supply here (I am currently in switzerland, in a small moutain town)

As for triggering, my electrical was being bizarre, so I'm using the manual until I can get more supplies. It seems to work just fine, but please tell me if that is actually destroying my cannon from the inside.

Is that a abs chamber?

NEVER USE ABS IN PNEUMATICS! Do I have to say this every week? Especially because you cemented to PVC, which lowers the pressure rating even more. Cut the ABS chamber off, and replace it with PVC, or it will blow out eventually.

Umm noname wooldn't a abs chamber be safe because that would be the part most likely to blow on a cannon, and abs splits so if the chamber blew he wouldnt be hurt (maybe have sore ears from the air.)

Once I hae proper supplies, I will fix the problems on the cannon. Thanks for pointing it out anyway noname.

it is stupid to use abs...it is stupider to use abs and cement it to pvs...it is stupidest not to use pvs glue on abs!!!!!!!!read the dam back of the can!!!!!!it says in big freeking letters *WARNING: DO NOT APPLY THIS OR ANY KIND OF PVC OR CPVC GLUE TO ABS PIPING OR FITTINGS!!!!!*

I think you need to take the solvent welding course read this it might help. http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... 461&#57461 Use your common sense and what others tell you, it might hurt your feeling's but they don't want to see you get hurt the F-14 looks good but please by all means use pressure rated pvc and primer and glue. Put it together properly. I don't want to see you getting hurt. I know I should talk but I have been researching for my gun for over 2 month's and it is still laying in pieces in a box not put together, I want to put it together right the first time and not get hurt! Then I would have something I can be proud of and not just for looks.
