You think the SGTC Mega Launcher was big?
I built this (entirely for bragging rights) and have since disassembled the launcher and used/gave away many of the components. It was fun to play with for a while, but when you build cannons as large as these, your garage quickly loses its available floorspace.

There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.

Can't seem to locate the CD that has all of my "stuff" from 2005?
It was filled with a 2 gallon compressor... it hated life for a while!

You could get bulk Co2 from a welding store, typically you can rent one for $5 a month + about $25-30 for a refill (50lb tank), attach a regulator, and quietly and efficiently fill the chambers. Co2 has basically the same charastics as air, just make sure the tank does not have a siphon, liquid Co2 in a plasic expansion chamber is dangerous.

Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

wow! so there's 10 feet of 6 inch chamber? whew! I thought I was gonna have to make mine bigger! lol. it's an inside joke from spudshot.
so it's no longer around?
If I were to say "for bragging rights" about the swat, a bunch of people would flip out on me.

I've always liked this gun... never got to post about it because the topic was locked before I even came to the SGTC forums. I do not think I have ever seen a bigger pneumatic...

Well not to step on any toes but I like DR's cannon a lot better than the SWAT gun cause it looks a bit more refined and has a smaller profile, and I bet it can fit in a car, which is always a plus.

the swat is a little bigger. because it has 10' of 6" and 3.5-4 feet of 4 inch.
not bragging, just pointing that out.
you guys dont think my canon looks refined? just curious.

Its not that its not refined, I just like how proffessional this one looks. I think you may have taken what I said the wrong way, I am in no way insulting your workmenship, however I am saying that DR's cannon seems more pleasing to the eye? I dunno. Sorry if I offended you, your piston valve on that thing is amazing in itself.

How much cash money did you have to drop for a project like that? Whenever I even think about something bigger than 4" the cost of the fittings and pipe always gets in the way. I think I've seen those valves before but I don't remember where. They would be awesome to have at my disposal.
