ok, I give you:
"the swat, version 3.0!"
I gave it a paint job, lightened the piston, shortened the piston valve for better preformance, reduced the pilot volume, cut off the braces that5 used to support the old 2" pvc barrel, got a 20 foot long aluminum barrel, added an air horn system (like the punkin chunkin guns: wahhhh, wahhhh, wahhhh.... BLAM!)
the small secondary chamber attached to the big chambers with a hose and the air horn, are part of the original 4" air chambers (although they dont seem to be that large of diameter), and is about 18-20 inches long.
and dont forget the paint job.
here it is.
CLICK TO VIEW LARGER, CLEARER IMAGES.IT LOOKS BETTER THAN THESE ONES
the tip of that barrel is at least 10-12 feet off the ground. (the picture below)
here it is in comparison to a 15 gallon air compressor.
it dwarfs it.
here is that same compressor compared to a pvc primer can.
to put it to scale.( the primer can is on top of the motor unit)

Sweet paint job. You definitely need a barrel support.
Did you imagine people saying, "Where's the can of primer? I don't see it."?

well, thanks!
the aluminum barrel is slightly bent, but I actually figured out how to use it like a tippmann flatline when I shoot round projectiles, so it puts spin, and actually increases accuracy.
when the projectiles aren't round, I just aim "a certain way I dont feel like explaining" and it is still very accurate.

Jebus Christ....Whats the diameter on that barrel?
Is it 2" or golf ball size

You really need a golf ball barrel if you don't have one. And yeah I love the paintjob, how long did it take?

He's able to put concrete filled Gatorade bottles through an assload of plywood and sheet metal.
Schmanman, just so you know, a Flatline just increases range, the backspin on the balls make the accuracy suck hideously.

well, I have not really chrono'd it with the recent mods, and the 6" chambers.
come to think about it, it's been almost a year.
here's S.W.A.T, v.1.
-10 foot barrel,
-12 feet of 4" air chamber.
-less efficient valve.
(before I came up with the name "swat")
S.W.A.T, v.2.
-new chambers. 10 feet of 6 inch.
-paint job.
-different unit between the air chambers.
-barrel support.
-15 foot long barrel instead of 10 foot.
S.W.A.T v.3
now I've got:
-20 feet of barrel
- more efficient valve
-air horns. yay!
-nicer paint job
-ability to make people crap their pants.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the barrel's 2 inches in diameter, 20 feet long. it towers over me.
go to your dad's hardware store, and get two 10 foot sections of pipe, than stick a coupler between.
stand it up next to you on end.
it'll show you the true scale.
the paint job took me 30 minutes-1 hour. would've been more, but I already had a good coat of black underneath.

I think it needs a marble barrel. The he could shoot them like a mile.
Nice paintjob! I wanna see a video of the air horn thingy doing its thing. It looks like fun!

Very nice!!!!!
Where did you find a 20 foot aluminum barrel?

Great, apart from the wonky barrel. It may be effective, but it doesn't quite look it.

is that the sound barrier i hear mocking you?

no, I have broken it using paintballs, etc.
I did'nt bother to post it here because every time I talk about this gun, I am accused of bragging, and a bunch of people get angry/try to flame me, etc.
yeah, I'll try to bend the barrel back into place.

Looking very nice. How did you paint it camouflage? I know this is probably common knowledge, but I'm kinda dumb sometimes

. I am the SLOWEST painter; it took me 90 minutes just to paint two 4" x 48" chambers green

. I always put too many coats, and then drips start to form... from there, its just me fighting to wipe up the drips and add more paint to make it not appear as rough... this causes more drips.... and the cycle continues for a long time
How much shorter is the piston valve housing? And how did you lighten up the piston?
By the way, what kind of porting does this valve has? It originally had 2" porting, but you added a female adapter to the front, so I am assuming it can have up to 3" porting, right?

sweet I bet you are disappointed that the barrel still bends although its aluminum.

It looks like your tee housing isn't level. Like the elbows to the bottom tee are fine but then the verticle port of the bottom tee isn't pointing directly up. Looks like its leaning slightly towards the back of the gun... I don't know it could be the pictures but it doesn't look straight and that wont help your crooked barrel problem.
