I was just wondering whats so bad about dwv fittings there just like the other ones (i think) and is there any danger if i use one on a pneumatic for the chamber?
And also whats the best lube for a modded sprinkler valve?

DWV fittings have shallow sockets, and are more likely to blow apart than PW fittings
Do not use them in pneumatics; you will not feel safe doing so.
Anything should work for a lube; I prefer white lithium grease.

well you can use DWV fitting on pnuematics except going above 60psi is dangerous with DWV fittings (although i still do it time to time)

I would not recommend wd-40 as it can damage some plastics. Either use the lithium grease as suggested or graphite powder.

indeed, what is there to lube in a diaphragm valve, as opposed to a piston one?

use sch. 80 fittings. Do not try new things, pvc will shatter and explode. SAFTY FIRST man
