Hi Everyone,

I recently noticed that there is a allot of people who have successful built wooden piston and there are those who are interested in building them.

I was wondering if anyone would mind posting their experience building wooden pistons.
From the really technical type using a lathe.
To the really simple kind of just matching up the right drill bit to the right PVC Pipe.
(Anyone who uses a drill bit to make a piston please post the size bit you used and the PVC you matched it up with.)

Thank you in advance.

PS
I am particularly interested in a wooden piston that fits into a 2” PVC T

i can tell you one thing, don't wast your time trying to make a wooden piston out of a square piece of wood using a drill press as a lath, it don't work, i spent 6 hours sanding on a piece of wood using the drill press to spin it and it still had flat spots :?
