Hey all,

I have a question for you.....I have some 11/16" OD electrical conduit that I have the perfect ammo for....But I don't want to build a metal gun..so i am wondering how to sleeve it inside 3/4" PVC..I was thinking just use JBWeld on the ends- about 1" on each end of each pipe, and that should hold it pretty good right?? Because it isn't under any major pressure correct??

And one more question......I just want to verify that this link is right.....that Sch40 1" PVC can really hold up to 450 psi.....While I won't be going that high...I probably would probably go up to 200 max....

http://www.harvel.com/pipepvc-sch40-80-dim.asp

So thanks for the two answers that I hope you guys have..I know the first one seems simple..I just want to make sure that it would work..

anyone?

I would trust 1" pvc to 200 psi.
But mpt anything over that.
There are other factors that make failure more prone than if it were used underground with water.

Use electrical tape around the coduit in at least three places and then put some glue on the tape before you push it in. To be extra sure you could drill a hole which is the same as the ID of the conduit in an endcap and put it over the end of the 3/4" barrel.

JB weld sticks to ANYTHING. actually not anything but you get the idea. It's just epoxy stuff.

I should think it does, if epoxy and PVC were incompatible then none of my projects would ever have happened :D
