This spud launcher shoots fast and far but runs on low pressures such as 25 psi. I shot a rubber ball ou of sight into the sky, no exaggeration.

Holy cow, that thing is monstrous. What's the red gunk all eover the fittings? Primer, or epoxy?

epoxy is the red, orange gunk that keeps it air tight when it is on the outside, it fills in any gaps.

msg there is an edit button so you don't have to double post 8)

You say that's primer and stuff that keeps the cannon air tight? Are you using this becuase you didn't correctelly use primer and cement on the cannon? If so I woulden't get ANYWHERE near that cannon it's just waiting to blow apart.

I did use primer and cement properly but just be extra safe i put some epoxy on the outside. Sorry I did not describe my previous post well enough.

looks good, i'd replace the DWV reducer and tee though, and the schrader valve should be tapped thru 2 layers of PVC (where the fitting overlaps the pipe) all in all, good job, next you should try a homemade valve or a sprinkler

I just filled the above cannon to forty psi, is 40 psi too much or can I fill this up even more? I don't want my gun to break but if I can crank it up even more it would be unbelievable.

You can get it up to about 80-90 PSI safely. I have a DWV launcehr that I've taken to 130 without problems, but i was stupid to do so.
Stay below 100 PSI.

Thanks that makes me feel better. It is funny because I thought 40psi was too much but if you are right i can take it up too 100psi!!
