ok so wierd thing, http://imgur.com/PvtUzM1,bSiUfHA The first picture is my firing chamber from the outside, the second is an internal view, the spark generates.... but under one condition. something has to touch the bolt going across in order for the spark to generate, and usually its my finger =[, so i feel like every time i fire the gun i must give myself a little jolt, what am I missing? O_o

Er.... and Ignitor has two terminals ;)

In the case of the cigarette lighter piezo above, the wire needs to be connected to one of the bolts, and the brass cap to the other. The spark needs a circuit to be complete, and when you touch the bolt you are being a human wire ;)

You have discovered a method of verifying that a spark was indeed made in the chamber. This is very useful when debugging a no-fire situation since it eliminates one possible failure mode (no spark). Many people, including myself, recommend building all spark-fired guns in this way to get constant feedback on the existence of a spark.

 not really

A rifleman learns that a sore shoulder is part of the sport. A spuder should take one for his sport. If you can't handle the voltage put down the bag of spuds and get off the firing range.

Is anyone taking this seriously?

Indeed. A true spudder uses his tongue to complete the trigger circuit and his groin as the recoil buffer.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
