Are these parts adequate for Oxy/Acetylene or Oxy/Propylene?

Are these parts adequate for an Oxy/Acetylene or Oxy/Propylene build? I'm planning my first serious build and want to make sure this is safe enough to handle the pressures before proceeding any further.

You'll be good to go for a simple metered combustion cannon in a warm climate. Search jimmy101 for researched and posted studies on the pressures generated by what fuel types, I think it was jimmy101 or maybe Clyde , someone correct me please if I remembered those Spudfilers wrong.

Those are some serious parts. That's a big chamber for sure. Any chance of a build log incoming?

In general, one would be advised to stay away from the "Oxy" part and rely on a pressurized fuel/air mixture instead. It adds complexity to the build but the result is safer and more reliable.

More than adequate. My oxy acetylene spud gun is made of aluminum pipe and has been very reliable for years. That pipe is rated for high pressure steam . I've also made one from PVC but it was very nerve wrecking. I just see yours being pretty heavy. Lol

As an aside, if you have a commercial plumbing supply house near you most have sch 80 steel nipples/fittings in stock and in my experience are much cheaper than McMaster.
