Sounds like your spark gap is too small. My hybrids SG is larger than that and often fails to ignite below 3x mixes, and thats a hybrid.

Edit: ninja'd by warhead. :D

Ill move the screw out a little, no time to get syringe and test probably

edit: lied found a peizo from a long lighter, so it defiantly can't be a spark now

Try a bigger spark. Move the screw that had the positive wire in the video out about 2 turns, and then try it with fuel.

Ok, if that doesn't work, use hairspray or something. I know its basic, and makes the chamber sticky, but if nothing else works and that does, I would put up with it. Just make sure you clean the prongs after each game or something. And clean the threads on the cap to make sure they don't get stuck.

I wouldn't oil it mostly because its flammable. Don't want random ignitions.

Dunno, you could try, but I think its still better to carry a wrench with you to torque it open if it gets stuck.

U can use a soap based lubricant/fat that plumbers use. At least we have that here in Norway

Ill give it a try worst case ill make a ghetto wrench that i can attach to my molle gear. In the meantime im thinking of possible projectiles, besides the obvious bb's and nerf footballs. Would duct tape balls be dangerous (indirect fire) or should i go look for foam balls somewere

Nah, duct tape balls are fine. As long as it doesn't hit someone directly, or if it has enough time to slow down it should be fine. I like to make paper sabots and put bbs or paintballs in them for a nice effect. I also mix it with flour to create a air burst effect.

That is what i was going to do, but then i thought about how fast ill go through bb's with a 2" barrel lol. I figure at least if i had an alternative it might be better. I'll make some paper balls wrapped with duct tape for a little weight to give it a good distance.

If you had a 2.5" barrel, you could shoot tennis balls. Those don't hurt too badly when they come in at an angle. If its full on, I don't ever want to experience that again, but at an angle its not so bad because it slows down enough.
