The ignitor is on the bass of the cannon, attached to the screw lid.

Btw, its a Piezlo Sparker i beleive. (Push it and it makes a spark  )

Might have got the name wrong but eh.

That's a really bad idea to mount the sparker on the endcap. If you fuel the cannon and load it, whats gonna happen if you drop it? Yeah...Kaboom!
Why do I try to make a relevant post?

looks nice, but those threads look really short and that looks like a reducer instead of a bushing.

It's called piezo (pee - zo). The PVC/ABS pipe and connector parts look thin and weird. Are you sure they are up to the task of keeping you safe and out of the emergency room? Where are you located xpiC?

Because of its short length, this little puppy will be loud.

Nice... i have yet to build a combustion of larger bore than .75 inch

by the way, can you get your hands on a disposable camera? you can make much better ignitors out of those.

that doesnt look pressure rated at all
If I were you I would just scrap it and make another one out of pressure rated parts(if they are avaiable to you)

But I guess its a decent cannon...for your first

I'll defer judgement on the PVC stuff to someone in the Oz/NZ locale...it does look suspicious though.

Your cannon doesn't have to be the best...you just don't want it hurting you.
