HGDT Guide

Does anyone have a access to the documentation for HGDT? Or can someone help me understand the software? The archive for GGDT works fine and I've used that plenty, but I have not used HGDT and I don't know what all the inputs and outputs are. I tried looking at the archive with no luck.

Thanks!

Do you have any specific questions? What are you trying to model exactly?

I found most of what I needed after digging through the forum. I'm still not entirely sure about the mix(Nx) input? What exactly is that? And does HGDT use a set ratio of fuel to air?

Thanks!

It's shorthand for the pressure before firing.

If your mix of fuel and air is pressurized to 150 psi, then that's approximately 10 times atmospheric pressure so your input value should be 10.

For an unpressurized basic combustion cannon this value should be 1.
And does HGDT use a set ratio of fuel to air?
I believe a stoichiometric mix ratio is assumed depending on the chosen fuel.

Perfect. Thank you!

Correct. I am NOT going to loop in PEP or any similar combustion codes!
