With a 1/2" to 3/4" bushing it holds in fine, and when it is cold outside I would need multiple shots of Mapp gas because the PSI drops low in the tank, 1 valve works fine for me.SpudBlaster15 wrote:Looks good, my only suggestion would be to tap the fuel meter fitting through 2 layers of pipe next time, and maybe use a meter that has 2 ball valves, it would be easier to operate, and more accurate.

Nice gun, very well thought-out, very clean construction. Looks a lot like my over/under metered propane gun.
How do you hold it? Are you going to add handles?

I'll try to post some better pics sometime soon.
Note, I used zip ties instead of hose clamps - either seem to work fine. I might change to hose clamps when I paint it. I'm going to paint it glossy black - but I'm waiting for it to warm up outside. I'm also going to add a stungun circuit. The BBQ sparker jumps all the gaps on the spark strip and it's never misfired yet, but I want to say I have a 100,000 volt ignition. So stun gun it is.

Wow, your gun is insane! Very nice job, it would look awesome with black paint. I would suggest you change to hose clamps, they look better and you dont need to cut (and throw away) when you need to take them off.Pete Zaria wrote:@fom

Its gonna be even better soon, breech load is almost done, I ran into a few problems.
