ok well over memorial day weekend i went camping.. friday, saturday, sunday, and monday.. and apposed as my freind not being allowed to go at the last minute i was poed..and new i was going to be bored...by saturday i made my dad take me to the nearest gas station to get propellent and a sparker..so when we got back i went arouind my camp looking for things to make a ghatto cannon.. i ended up with the leg of a burnt chair(barrel), two metal rods(sparking rods), and an empty tiki torch fuel bottle... so i put my cannon together and when i was all done i stuck i peice of a potato down in... unscrewed the lid, sprayed in axe, went over by the fire, got ready to shoot it in to the fire, and then my dad yelled at me... he told me to go farther away because he thoguht something might ha[ppen because of the tiki fuel fumes still in there with the axe.. i told him they were all gone.. he still didnt believe me. so i got up and went a bit farther to beside my tent. pressed the sparker...(uh oh)
B0o0o0o0o0o0m!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! effing bottle blows up in my hand, i jumped so far and threw that thing so hard...damn i was scared.. i picked up the bottle and the lid+barrel were blown off, the bottle was in half, and i had a severe burn on my arm... yea...i was in the creek for 2 hours... i should ahve listened to my dad....there was titki fuel in it...
^^^^^^in the above rambling u realize in a normal combustion with actual pvc a drop of tiki fuel from a eye dropper or paster with some spray makes a hella powerful fuel!!! u guys should try it seeing as i dont ahve a combustion.... tell me how powerful it is...

i almost think it wouuld be common scence to check it. it could have also blown up because the stuff you used was laying aroung and who knows how old it was.
maybe in a metal chamber ill try it.

Well I think your issue may have been the TIKI canister itself.They rust out all the time.Either way someone should try the tiki fuel and ax mix.Maybe I will in my spare time

the canister wasnt metal.. it was the bottle that the tiki fuel came in... it would definately not blow up in a normal combustion.. the only reason it blew up is because the (barrel) was way way way smaller than the tiki bottle...

hahaha wow if tiki torch fuel can cause such a huge explosing that it blows with that feul air ratio then it should make a great combution feul

tiki fuel is kerosene and insectiside the bottle couldnt take the pressure from the propane in the axe
