I thought that my flow is restricted by the barrel anyway, so 1/2 makes more sense also will save me a lot of burst discs.
Is the recoil at mix 20 that big? MrC's 2"porting hybrid at mix 10 barely move when fired on the ground, Petitlu's hybrid also doesn't move much when fired...

It's close to 40lbs and moves back about 3' in gravel when firing a projectile weighing only 85g. It also jumps up a bit at the front too. Recoil was ridiculous before I put the cross-beam on the chamber to brace it against my body and stabilise it when firing from the ground.

Not sure what a 20x mix would be like in a smaller burst disk hybrid; firing a golf ball from my 3/4" burst disk hybrid at a 10x mix can provide enough discomfort.

Noise isn't a big problem as soon as I shot it at a open area, even through a quiter cannon will be a lot easier to shot. Do you know the recoil force of you hybrid at mix 20? Anyway I can always charge the shock absorber to higner pressure in case the recoil is too strong.

I do not know the recoil force ..
But with the barrel of he recoils cal.50 least since the barrel is heavy

Exactly what I´m thinking, designing right now.

Why you just don´t say that your friend that told you the calculations and give the house to do the film is me?

I said that testing wasn´t in my house, didn´t thought it´s good to mention names through.
So, the tests I did was in RJB´s house, also he gave me some calculations about tin foil pressure ratings :)

I will see if I can get enough parts and time to make one for you too

It won´t be necessary.... I´m designing a system more practical and efficient too, I will load the project....
