I'm building a hybrid and I can't seem to find a good regulator for my propane meter. I have seen ones with what looks like a yellow knob on top, and they were used with propane, but I have yet to find one. I have searched on eBay and Google, and still nothing. A little help please?

I went to home depot and lowes and they didn't have any, but sears has a bunch try there. No point in ordering one online, but if you want to here you go.

A normal air regulator should work fine. Thats what I use.
Mine was from lowes and it was 20$

I just got one form lowes. It's a shiny blue Kobalt brand mini reg.

But mine won;t stay set anymore, but that might be my fault, I was careless with it.

You don't really need one, really. Just use the gate valve on the torch head to slowly bring the pressure up. Just close it when the meter is at the right pressure and you're good to go, allong with the $20 you just saved.

Yeah, I think noname probably got his at the same place I've gotten a few. Check out Harbor Freight. They have brick and mortar stores, and an onlline store. Check the adds regularly. The prices can fluctuate greatly, like something can regularly sell for $70 and then go down to like $15.

I've never seen or been inside any "Harbor Freight" stores. I got it at a local scrapyard.
