Compact Hand-Held Piston Hybrid v1.3. caution: picture heavy

This is a hybrid that's been nearly a year in the making, it's been worth the time and parts for sure. I want to give a special thanks to MrCrowley, SB15, DYI, and anyone else who has helped me in the chat:

So this is version 1.3, so how about some history...

v1.1, had piston issues along with ignition and fueling; only fired with a burst disk



v1.2, Meter pipe not shown, but it worked with a syringe and was low powered




And the best version to date: v1.3


Specifications
- 6" steel chamber
- 1/2" porting, isolated, vented pilot
- piezo electric ignitor
- interchangeable cam-lock barrels

I would say I can't wait for a video but seeing how long I've waited for the cannon, I think my patience will last

Recoil may become substantial at higher pressures with larger ammo, but I'll try to get it on film a somepoint.

, a video will come, I've got a nice barrel that fits 20 ga wads, so you make see some cool stuff with birdshot

SB15,
Better late then never, but I will be replacing the barrel with an aluminum one soon and I may get a length of 3/4" copper. Until then, no greater then 3x mixes with ammo

JSR,
I'll for sure have to add some bracing, the epoxy may not hold the handle on if it recoils too hard.

Any suggestions for cheap targets and ammo? I have lead I suppose I could make into ammo

Thanks PVC arsenal, I build for function then jazz it up with some ergonomics and even aesthetics.

I will get some damage videos going once I can figure out an effective silencer for a 3/4" barrel, I will probably house it in 3" drain pipe, but I want some fancy baffles to really turn down the noise. As of now it's as loud as my 20ga shotgun

you can wet the inside too really cut out the sound, works for real guns so should have some effect on a hybrid

Can you explain this some? sounds interesting, like wetting the chamber, the barrel, the ammo?
