Do you think it would be feasible to build a spudgun that relies on decomposition of NOX ? (ie. using it as a sort of monopropelant?)
How hard and safe would it be ?

Only N2O can exothermically decompose and do work. For that however it would need some hydrogen. I'm not sure how will the positive OB effect the plastics. Other option is a chamber with pressurised air/N2O and a constant spark. To shoot you inject high pressure stream of fuel.
