Holy... wow...

Why didn't anyone ask for more attention to this?

D_Hall if you would like/don't mind we could post something on the front page about this.

It gets whatever attention it gets. I don't see a need to put it on the front page.

A functioning PC displaying the front page will actually fit in the barrel...

If this site is to cater primarily to hobbyists - and I think it's safe to say that it does - then I think the front page should represent that which hobbyists can aspire to.

VERA is nothing that a hobbyist can realistically hope to replicate simply due to the infrastructure requirements to build her. Further, from a technical perspective, she's a very simple gun. As such, she neither represents something a hobbyist can aspire to build nor even get significant ideas from. Thus, I don't know that she belongs on the front page.

That gatling gun on the page right now? THAT SOB is impressive and it did - after all - win the popularity contest.

While it may be simple in design, it IS an impressive cannon, simply because no once has ever built one of that size. And the sound is immensely satisfying, it sounds like an alien weapon.. Quite awesome.

I will never, and I mean never, do anything to make you even the slightest bit annoyed. Mainly because I want to keep all my body parts.

You could probably fit in the barrel. Just saying.

Also, it's quite pricey per shot so I would be more afraid of those with cheaper means of termination at their disposal ;)

I don't think you could define body parts if you were on the recieving end of this.

And JSR, $6000 is pretty cheap for such services.

As a launching service, no doubt it is relatively economical - that was the point after all - but as a means of disposing of someone, not really.

Although... hmmm, this is interesting.

Launching the victim into orbit would not give CSI much to go on...
