Alright so I am attempting to recreate DR's Gen II hybrid but with a stronger thicker chamber. I have 2 2" sch 80 male adapters, 4 2" sch 80 couplings, 2" sch 80 pipe, 1.5" sch 80 pipe and many other fittings. I just ordered a 6000 PSI stainless Steel Threaded Union off EBAY and will use it to hold the burst disk.

Any Questions Or Comments?

I've head of those steel unions cuting the burst disk because of the taperd edge, but PVC unions have a flat sealface.

Nice $15 bucks, thats a good deal. Hey I searched DR's Gen II hybrid and couldn't find the one your replicating. Which one is it? And the parts your talking about, are they metal or pvc or wood or glass or what?

Just file done the taperd edge till its flat. This should be safer than a mid/ large sized hybrid because of the smaller pipe. what are you going to use to fire it? IS it going to be fired remotely.
