I still need a name

I have decided that I can't wait until the competition.
I did my first hybrid shot today and it was spectacular.
At 1x the gun didn't make a loud boom but more of a threatening fwoomp as the projectile "cracked" in the air.
At 2x the gun made a powerful thunder-like boom. It also gave me a rush of adrenaline and a feeling that I have taken my hobby to the next level.

3x testing tomorrow.

The gun features a 4" sch-80 4750ml chamber. 2" barrel connections with sch-80 union.

It has a 1.5" sch 40 barrel with breach loading slug cutter, 2" sch-40 barrel for launching caulk tubes.

(thanks BCpneumatics I found something to do with your barrel.)
Btw BC did you get that monster 10" pipe from DR at the meet? My dad found a 10" sch-40 coupling in new condition on the side of the road, if you want it let me know

It is powered by a spark strip rigged to a 100,000v stun gun circuit in a project box.

I would like to thank everyone here at spudfiles and spudtech for your vast amount of support and knowledge.

Cool hybrid. What do you use as burst disks? Is it a remote ignition or what?

I am using soda can metal for burs disks until I can find something easier to work with and more uniform.

And their is no remote ignition because I am an idiot.
But I don't plan on going past 3x.

very nice gun frank. you should put a video on youtube or something.

do you have any concerns about the sch40 barrel, i guess it isnt holding as many psi.

off topic: whats with the flaming ground?

Wish my parents didn't care if I made a combustion, or I'd have one o these already. Great job with it, hope it doesn't blow. :D

I don't plan on painting it, and those flames spell out IPLA, DR and the other guys were all pyro and stuff and spelled it out.
The sch-40 barrel should be fine as long as I don't use any ammo that doesn't fit with minimal pressure
Edit:
I'll have a video up soon showing it shot at 1x and 2x so you can hear the difference.

Sweet hybrid wish I had the time and money right now to make one. I still have to finish my combustion first and mabe later I can make a hybrid, I still have to get my tazer for my ignition on the cannon I am working on now. But any way keep up the good work though.

Great cannon! I've been looking forward to this for a while, but I have to say it's less of a "shocker" since you've given so many "sneak peaks" already. You should sleeve an SDR-21 golfball barrel for it as well and see what kind of velocities you're getting to jive with the research people like boilingleadbath are conducting.

Oh, lol I was way off, how do I mistake 6" for 10" lol?
The coupler is massive!
As a matter of fact I am abut to rig myself up something to kill the noise a and do a 3x mix in about 15 minutes.

The soda can burst disk didn't blow at 90 psi when I did a pressure test, and thats all my compressor had left in it and I didn't want to charge it.

As for a golf ball barrel I am working on that.
When I get money tomorrow I plan on buying one from BC and maybe a tennis ball barrel from Sgort.(his Breach loading sounds good for a tennis ball.)
