Hello all.
I am planning on makeing a BBMG, of Vortex Cap type.
I have an idea in my head of its basic shape.
What i want to know is if my idea shown below will work?
First BBMG idea

the only fault i see is in the spring unless that design is set in stone you might as well make it gravity fed the only thing the spring will do is make reloading harder unless you really want that shape but besides that it should work just fine

Do you know what springs in BBMG's do? For ease of reloading the spring/plunger could be connected to the threaded cap he reloads through.

I was thinking of adding a threaded cap onto the end. I am still figureing out a trigger system though as im not sure wether i am going to use air or CO2. However i'm leaning towards CO2.

this looks like the same setup for the RC-P240(first vortex cap BBMG).
As far as I can tell your air inlet is in the perfect place. (I think jimmy thought this is a regular vortex block setup and it isnt.)
Essentially the same thing as a D-Mag Style setup but turned on its side.(which works quite well.)

Anouthe Question if you dont mind. Must the Barrel and air in be flush with the inside of the Cap as shown in 1.? Or Can it be either?

It should be flush.

The barrel and inlet should be inline with the top/side of the circle. Just say if you don't know what I mean.

The top edge of the barrel should be aligned with the top edge of the vortex hole (tangental to the vortex hole).
I would put the air inlet parallel with the barrel and with the inlet bottom tangental to the bottom of the vortex hole.
IIRC, Latke put his air inlet dead center on the bottom of the vortex.

Which means that they are pretty much aligned with each other.
I would recommend that you do in the picture above having it flush. as it would allow for better feeding and therfor better efficiency.
