Blow forward bolt should be enough, if made big enough.

I have noticed the lapse in activity here. Has anything been developed. Sounds intriguing.

I doubt it, typical teenage flight of fancy ;)

The original project sounded like this except using sabots.

@JSR - Now looking closer it was about 1 weeks worth of effort and debate.

@Solar - WOW. That Eclipse Launcher is what I have been working towards. Crap! Someone beat me to it. Seriously. Depression is setting in.

There are a few I have seen such as Q's Mk19 and I think the Spudtech site has a PVC belt fed offered. We are going to revisit this design soon and make some improvements.

Solar - I have seen Q's MK19, in pictures and video only. If it were in person I may have been tempted to play that trick, "Hey, look over there!" I am on a different path than Q. Whereas he is using an electric motor for his loader, I am aiming for gas blowback. Now I am on the hunt for that PVC belt-fed you're referring to. Even with the search engine here, I am still having a hard time navigating this large site.

There has been some progress, but not much. I managed a brief run through of it but then gave up as the feeding mechanism was just driving me insane. Plus it started to get too costly for me.

warhead052 - Insane? Feeding mechanism design or build? BTW my people here have me in a padded room already.

Nah, its more or less a case of I dont have the time, patience, or brainpower to deal with this anymore. I also got a hold of a 40mm shell, and when they are charged its pretty difficult to depress the plunger, so I won't be able to use it pneumatically. I may continue with this project at a later time though.
