hi im haze and im new to this forum about a month ago, i found this sight and was inspired to make my own bbmg. The reason i wanted to make a bbmg was because i live in australia and have always been interested in airsoft but australias STRICT gunlaws have stopped me from doing it. so i decided i would make a inline vortex bbmg. this is the result, it is not finished still a work in progress and im open to suggestions from where to go from here.

Hehe i like the nerf gun stock on it. What ammo do you plan on using? But looks great cant wait to see the finished product. Perhaps you can find some steel ball bearings or beads as ammo.

lol im probably flagged by asio as it is for searching all the stuff for this online. nice mr. sandman for spotting the nerf stock i was into modding nerf guns just casually till making a bbmg took my fancy. in relation to ammo i have a pot of 6mm bbs and thats all i plan to shoot out of it since i dont want to kill anyone just give them a few welts
the gun isnt finished yet i plan to put a ak47 style stock and grip on it that i will make myself. i have only tested the gun once on my friends air compressor, since i dont own one
. does anyone know of a suitable and cheap co2 tank and regulator so i caqn make it portable
.

Believe it or not, kids firing plastic beads isn't at the top of the terrorism taskforce's list. (I think)
Pretty nice gun. Obviously not the most aesthetically pleasing thing ever, but each to their own
Welcome to spudfiles

bunnings has co2 behind the counter of the trade desk idk what it is for iv seen it there a few time when serving customers, don't think they have regs tho. there in aluminium bottles about 2l
if you have a gun licence than you can get a big tank from gun shops
also tig welding use co2 and argon i think

In some countries though, kids firing beads make easier targets than actual terrorists, and are useful for making up arrest targets

Have you ever thought about playing Nerf? I guess you might of... since you have the Nerf Recon Stock. Because I had the same mind set as you, "If you can't buy it, you make it", but I realised I was way too lazy, I've made a few but they were kind of failures.
So I thought, why don't I just modified Nerf Guns to fire harder and faster, so that's what I've been doing since like maybe a month ago. But anywho before I accidentally hijack your thread, if you're looking for BB's, you can buy them online for $19.95 (excluding postage) and you get 4000 .12g BBs... Link Below...

Whereabouts are you from in Aus? which state?
EDIT1: Btw did you bend the blowgun nozzle some how? Because if you did I think you should try to bend it back a little more because it seems kind of uncomfortable to hold.

yes i have but for one problem, nerf is seriously stupid. you have to do lots of work removing air restrictors etc just for the satisfaction of shooting a harmless peice orange foam a whole extra 2 mtres wow !! and besides im 16 and nerf is just a lil embarrasing

sad to say i live in tasmania

ok cool i might get one of those, but 2l of c02 sounds pretty expensive does anyone know if soda stream bottle work.

i am firearms qualified, and as soon as i turn 18 i get my gun license. yay
but bunnings sounds like a better option.
