As a compliment, of course. :)

In the first thread, your parts looked pretty simple. And well, discombobulated.

The finished product is a very good implementation.

:D
If you can't fix it, you don't own it.

Is it just me or is the incidence of PUI statistically higher for Aussie members :D
Nope, just other nations have a lower incidence of PUI

My teachers hated this one:

Teacher: "Matt, take your iPod out in class"

Me: "beg your pardon sir? I can't hear you, I'm listening to my iPod"

Wow I must say, I am impressed!

I must ask though. Where did you get the regulator from? Or is it homemade using various plumbing fittings?

Back in the days in Australia they used to sell an Ozito power system that comes with a regulator, which will actually work for a soda stream canister as well.

Nowadays I simply cannot find anything like that anywhere.

He bought an Co2 Aquarium Regulator, the place he bought it from in Australia have sold out of them.

I'll be buying one similar off ebay next week for $30.00 delivered( from China) hope customs dont take it(thinking its a paintball reg) you cant import any paintball gear unless you have an importers licence!. If its marked on its packaging as an aquarium reg I wont have probs

I've just ordered two 1/4" Quick exhaust Valves today and will be using one of those,a 1/8" poppet Valve,Aquarium reg,Soda Stream Bottle,6mm ID Barrel ,Soda Stream Adaptor ( bottle to reg) for my new project.

But need to figure out a good/simple Semi Auto feeder thats reliable and doesnt double feed my last gun used a simple detent but double feeds using pressure over 110psi

I don't know the answers... You'd be better off searching for a spec sheet or something along thos lines

It certainly will fit. But the valve system for a sodastream is slightly different to a paintball tank. The threading will be exactly the same however. I know this because I too own a paintball tank and a sodastream tank and have compared the two before.

how can the valve stem vary? would this still allow me to use this regulator?

Possibly. The valve stem varies in that the button is slightly shorter than that of a regular paintball tank. It is also somewhat harder to press down, so to speak. That would be the only difference.

Whether the difference will affect the operation of the regulator or not, I would have no idea, as I do not own this particular one. But I suspect it wouldn't be a problem.

Ive personally decided not to buy the Soda Stream Bottle but instead a 12 oz co2 bottle with on/off valve and the reg sold all as one unit ,from an aquarium place . It costs $75.00

That look awsome!!!

What size pipe did you have to buy for the barrel?

I'm trying to built one like your's and having a bit of trouble working all this out, this will be my first go at making one.

Any help/pointers on the making you'd be great.
