Guys, today I am furious!!!!!!! Ive tried to get a GBB Airsoft pistol for over 10 years being that they are classified as illegal here in Australia.

I finally get one from a guy in Australia who lied and said it worked great/smashed glass and was 400 fps!,VERY far from the truth.

Worst thing is I'm ashamed to say I paid $600.00 Aust for this because they are impossible to get into Australia and I thought it was a good pistol but its really just crap
most the time wont feed at all.
Gets Jammed.
Uses all gas in one Mags worth of shots.

Im using Propane/propane adaptor/silicon oil

Its made by a company called Haw San and is a Glock 17 Blowback with Steel Slide but I can find no info on this via google, only a Haw San Airsoft shotgun .

I emailed the guy and he says it worked fine for him and said to just order some Green Gas from Overseas but I doubt it would get past customs,he says it does as hes done it. Does it sound like maybe the slide isnt blowing all the way back thus causing probs and Green gas would run better even though its the same gas really!?....

I understand your frustration (and your willingness to part with a silly amount of money for an item which is worth less but difficult to obtain) but I suggest you take a minute to breathe and examine it carefully.

It sounds like the problem is insufficient gas pressure. This would explain the lack of shots-per-fill and insufficient slide movement to feed. When you say "jams" do you mean the slide gets stuck?

Are the two slide removal tabs on each side above the hand guard functional, and if so, are they in the "up" position?

Are you confident enough to take it apart carefully and examine the seals?

I took the slide off and wasnt happy,=
1)Theres a o-ring at the front section for no reason?.
2)Theres a peice of Pipe Cleaner in there as a bushing!?.
3)Theres a light spring near the front thats damaged/out of shape, not the slide spring.

Some bastard has Bodged this thing up!,I found out after testing twice that = if I rack the slide when the mag is full of gas,it wont feed the first bb into the chamber but if I have no gas in the mag at all it will feed the first bb into the chamber.

This makes absolutely no sence to me at all??,I dont think the guy will give me my money back so ive been conned badly. He knew how bad I wanted one of these and told me bullshit lies,I paid heaps for it too and its just not working at all.

I dont even know if I can get parts for it!? as I can find no info on this Pistol ANYWHERE!?,I joined Airsoft Retreat last night for help but after two posts they banned me as its not legal in my Country

Shame you've been taken advantage of but I don't think all is lost.

If I can make a suggestion, take it apart to the extent you are comfortable with, and take several detailed photos.

If there any small parts that need to be machined, I'm sure some kind soul on this forum would be willing to help out. I myself have a shattered Glock 17 GBB from some obscure manufacturer (could well be Haw San, I can tell you after I arrive back in epoxyland on Saturday) that might be of similar design and yield some parts that might be of use.

As to the seller, you can't very well report him, but you have his postal address I suppose. Do you have a dog :D

Well the guy's Address on the postbag is listed as being only a 40 min drive from me!! but wether this is a real address I dont know?,I suspect its a fake one  .

I have tried for days to find out any info on this Haw San Glock, exploded diagram would be great but no luck!. I have heard numerous GBB Glocks use the same Seals etc but no idea if mine are the same as ive no idea how old the pistol is.

Even worse it has no hop up so Im suspecting its older than I thought when the guy sent me pics of the gun!. It wouldnt even penetrate through one side of a Thin engergy drink can! so its nowhere even close to 400 fps,why is the world full of so many Liars and con artists.

I'm Fuming with anger as I paid so much for this thing and it doesnt work.

That doesn't sound like a good idea, no matter what his intentions were he still purchased an illegal item.

If you need any parts machined I'll make them for you assuming it's within my capabilities and equipment. If they're small parts I'll do it for free including postage. If you need bigger parts then paypal me a few dollars to cover postage expenses. I'm in Australia so postage will be cheap and I'll send them marked as airline/scientific etc. components.

When you're raised with draconian gun laws, you get to the stage where you're willing to pay that amount of money.

100% right Jack!.... I wanted a GBB for so long( nearly 10 years!) and gogling nearly every day to try source one in Australia or figure out how to smuggle one in then find one for sale, you have to outbid other forum members to get it and pay big $$$$ unfortunately!.

Now I get one and its rubbish,I had a thought= what if the slide spring is too strong for it to cycle fully and feed bbs with propane? maybe Green gas/blowback gas somehow has more oomphhh due to more efficient mixing of propane and silicon oil.

try heating the gas bottle, that will give you more pressure.
