Gather this port from trigger. Still unsure where volume comes from.

A good diagram of how it works
Thanks.
Found another, explains the small holes in cylinder for piston return, in that diagram nailer is fed from Seperate chamber.

I think could do, hav to block above the trigger.
Makes the around white plastic storage pressure volume. (then Seperate from in handle).

I thought that's how it operated.
But the air from trigger pushes piston. To seal off chamber.
Dosnt allow air to bleed into surrounding chamber (white plastic part with holes in pics)
Fed from within handle.

Maybe just getting ahead of self,
I thought be air hungry with volume coming from handle.

My progress.
Haha.... Mini... incremental.
Just to see how it goes, I
Pulled out piston.
Put Schrader valve bottom handle , used foot pump.
Didn't work at lower pressures.
70 to 90 psi did.
It air hungry, pretty much whole volume gone in one pull.
I changed spring and length in back of piston valve .
Got it to work lower pressure. 40 etc.

What want to do is reduce volume air blown.
Seperate chamber around piston valve from handle. (handle and around valve seems volume expelled. Maybe different if had the staple piston. Any how.
Then think needs small hole in piston valve fror it to fill surrounding chamber.
Then it's where to put hole.
Piston oring is tight fit.
On the list is cheap. Air tank.+ Regulator.
Soda Stream bottle came to mind,
Seen it somewhere?.
Then it's a thing of threads etc.
