Electric Bolt-Action BBMG

Basically the wheel is spun by an electric motor, so the piston/bolt lets a BB in then smacks it out and keeps repeating while the motor spins. The only flaw I can think of is that the motor will be too fast and end up making it so that the BBs don't have enough time to fall in front of the piston.

Put a spring above the BBs And you would beed to move the wheel insainly fast unless you used a lever to move the piston.

All I understood was the part about putting a spring above the BBs.

what kind of motor are you trying to get?
its (rpm/60)(diameter/12)=fps
lets say 100000 rpm, and a 2" diameter wheel, you get 277 fps tops, and 1666 rounds each second.
but i see a issue that is easily solved, the bb may make a vacuum behind it, so make sure the barrel has holes or something to let air in

I might use a spring powered piston fed mag design and I might put holes in the magazine or somewhere because no air is used.
(rpm/60)(diameter/12)=fps according to you, so I'll play with the equation. And this will be for airsoft, so I don't want too high of speeds. I want to be able to use it in wars against my friends.

Isn't this how electric BBMGs actually work?
I don't think the smacking action would be powerful enough, though. More like take a usual spring-powered piston BB gun and adapt that to your design.

dont have the piston smack the bb have it create air

you cant have the piston create air caz you would get a vacum effect wich would just screw the hole gun over and it would be a waste of money

by air i mean like a piston not have it hit the bb because that would push it about 1 foot out of the barrel if your lucky.

Yeah, chosen_way kinda put what I said in another way. You can add a tee with a one-way valve to remove the vacuum effect.

Remember that vacuum cannon post. That would be cool if you could make a vacuum then break that vacuum shooting the bb out.
Not sure if you could get the fps you want though.
