Miniature guns are novelty custom, unique, and sometime downright crude! Common construction materials often include pill bottles or pens. Show us your work!

Cannon name: The Pirate

built by Brian the Brain

Caliber: .45 smoothbore
Type: Pneumatic ( coaxial)
Pressure used: 26 bar ( yes that is accurate)
Valve: Floating tapered diaphram ( no backflow)
Materials used: steel and brass
Ammo: Whatever fits in there, ball bearings, airsoft buckshot...

I couldn't keep this one to myself anymore, since I wouldn't be around during competition time..

I set out to make a high performance pirat style pistol...this is what I came up with.

The inlet valve is homebuilt, it leaks ever so slightly.I fixed it with a closed of femal quick disconnect, wich closes it off.The escaping pressure from the male QD fixes it in place, so it can't be turned.
The trigger guard is superglued to the female QD.

With the plug in place there are NO leaks.

This thing is louder than my sawed-off, thanks to the ultra quick valve, the high pressure and off course because of the short barrel..
It is extremely powerfull for it's size.It turns bottles into clouds of glass..

Oh and did I mention I polished it...in stead of flat black...IT"S SHINY!!!

One last "No Nonsense Gun" before I go
Any questions or remarks?? Feel free to leave a post..

Unfinished, but working.I had to add a grip.THe gun is portrayed without the trigger guard and plug.

Final look, at an angle to show you the trigger guard. The grip is very comfortable.

Too bad i had to use compression fittings at the muzzle.Solder fittings would look so sweet, but since I use steel pipe I can't solder it.

I might file off the hex though, once I'm confident I won't heve to fix anything inside.
THis thing takes about 8 pumps to get to 26 bar.
It's the most fun gun I ever built!!!

I've heard a rumour ( sp?) about fiberglass cable coming to my new home-village ( can't call it a town!!) sometime this year..
Sometimes it sucks being Dutch..I can't explain as well as I want..

I might end up having internet there after all in a few months!!

Keep my fingers crossed!!

Well...back to the buttkissing..Muhahaha

Oh..about the contest..He made an exception for me in the first one, so I don;t want to bother him again.
I would donate the prize back to him anyway..
