Has anyone tried making a piston valve pneumatic gun out of one of these? The thing inside could be used as the piston. All you would have to do is slap a barrel on and attach a schrader valve and possibly drill a couple small holes in the piston and you would be done. It would probably be a good Idea to sleeve it because I dont know how much pressure one of these could hold.

XD
you can always tie a dozen hose clamps on the make it safer
you need to make a cap for the bottom, think eproxy.
unrelated but you get the idea i hope

why do I need to make a cap? you mean to make the bottom stronger? or to enclose the bottom(some are open on the bottom because some arent spring loaded to push the pop up), because the one I ate is completely closed on the bottom

I think it would work if you did it right. It might be a bit faulty as that is a 2 dollar piece of plastic. Nice idea, I think itll work.

I might get around to making it, if the one i have will fit nicely in some copper tubing I will start it in a week or so, getting my drivers license about that time to be able to go get parts

***PUFF!***
as for the push pop, i think its too cheezy for a pneumatic, maybe at like 10 psi it would be safe

Why wouldnt it be safe for higher pressure if I sleeved it in copper pipe?

it will be safer cause the copper wont burst into shrapnel like cheap nylon does.

i get the one where you stick your fingers in.
this might work, but i have very poor eproxy mixing skills.
the one you had can be used too

use putty type epoxy, not the liquid.
its a lot easier to mix than a puddle of goopy stuff. its like mixing black and white play doh to get grey play doh
